Mass exodus?

I had the pleasure of speaking with IN THE BLACK, CPA Australia's monthly business magazine for their March feature on The Great Resignation.

I shared the story of my “pandemic epiphany” which led me to reorientate my career goals around my desire to see the impact my work is having at a human level combined with my passion for business. I have been very lucky to find this at Tax Traders, a leading tech firm and purpose-driven business with a deep desire to see business as a force for good. Having the time and space during the earlier months of the pandemic allowed me to reconsider my work and make a meaningful and considered change.

And did this change deliver? Yes! Now I am four months into my new role, and I am loving the part that I am playing in shaping the Tax Traders’ story. I am waking each morning feeling so much more positive and satisfied with my work (and just a tad impatient!). This has been an unexpected gift of the pandemic but one I am truly grateful for.
